“Pulse of the Street” Painting

Description

This painting by Mohammad Chenari measures 75×55 cm and was created using the oil-on-canvas technique.

The work depicts an urban street scene—a space teeming with movement, activity, and everyday details where architecture, vehicles, pedestrians, and ambient light converge to tell the story of city life. Through free, energetic brushstrokes, the artist seeks to convey the dynamism and vitality of the street atmosphere rather than merely replicating specific details.

The juxtaposition of warm and cool tones—ranging from brilliant yellows and urban lights to shades of gray and blue—creates a lively, dynamic atmosphere. Angular lines, expressive brushwork, and simplified forms give the piece a quality that hovers between reality and the artist’s personal interpretation; it is as if the viewer is experiencing not just a street, but a fleeting moment of urban life.

In this painting, the city is portrayed as a living entity—a place where movement, light, people, and architecture intersect in a shared moment. By choosing an everyday perspective, the artist transforms a familiar setting into a fresh, evocative image.
