Mohammad Chenari, a contemporary painter and artist from Mashhad, was born on June 12, 1978. He has dedicated over 25 years of his life to painting, and a significant portion of his artistic career is intertwined with visually capturing the city of Mashhad and the life unfolding on its streets.
To date, Chenari has created numerous works depicting the nature, streets, squares, neighborhoods, landmarks, and people of Mashhad. For him, the city is not merely a collection of buildings and streets; every corner holds a narrative of life, memory, and human presence. From the vicinity of the Imam Reza Shrine and Taghi-Abad Square to Doktora Intersection, Hafez Bridge, Haft-e-Tir, old alleyways, and the city’s outskirts, his subjects emerge from the fabric of everyday life.
