Description
This painting by Mohammad Chenari measures 78×59 cm and was created using the oil-on-canvas technique.
The work depicts an expansive landscape of highlands and natural vistas, where hills, vegetation, and a distant cityscape merge beneath a bright, serene sky. Approaching nature with an emotive perspective, the artist seeks to convey not merely an image of a place, but the experience of the vastness, silence, and tranquility of the open outdoors.
Color plays a pivotal role in shaping the atmosphere of this painting. A harmony of natural elements is revealed through the interplay of brilliant yellows in sunlit areas, natural greens in the vegetation, and soft shades of gray and violet in the sky and mountains. Free brushstrokes and textured impasto infuse the work with energy and movement, transforming the canvas surface into a vibrant, living space.
Moving beyond a literal depiction of the scenery, the artist focuses on the sensation of being present in nature—a landscape where light, air, and color blend to create a tranquil, poetic moment.
