Untitled painting

Description

This painting by Mohammad Chenari measures 68 x 50 cm and was created using the oil-on-canvas technique.

The artwork depicts a mountainous landscape where a river winds its way through rocks, trees, and vegetation. Approaching the natural scenery with an emotive perspective, the artist has created an atmosphere filled with tranquility and vitality—inviting the viewer to experience the sensation of being by the water and immersed in the silence of nature.

In this painting, the movement of the water serves as the central compositional element, guiding the viewer’s gaze across the canvas. Rocky outcrops, autumn foliage, and the reflection of colors on the river’s surface create a blend of warm and cool tones that enhance the landscape’s depth and dynamism.

Free brushstrokes and textured paint application lend the natural scene a lively, dynamic quality. The yellow and orange hues of the leaves, contrasted with the greenery of the plants and the gray of the rocks, evoke the changing seasons and the beauty of the passage of time.

Here, the artist transcends a mere depiction of nature to capture a poetic moment of harmony between water, stone, trees, and light—an image that brings the serenity of the natural world into the viewer’s living space.
